Who we are

Peachtree City Volunteer Firefighter's Association is a self-regulating, financially autonomous, community service organization. The primary purposes are:

  • to provide quality volunteer personnel to serve as members of the Peachtree City Fire & Rescue Department (PCFD)
  • support improved community life safety through fundraising
  • to assist in providing and maintaining professional education, training, and equipment for PCVFA members and the PCFD
  • to participate in activities which enhance food public relations and
  • to promote public safety through awareness and education programs

Board Of Directors


President

Tina Bates

Tina has been with the Peachtree City Volunteer Firefighters' Association since September 2008. She has been a certified EMT since 2001 and became a Fire Officer in 2015. Between 2010 and 2014, Tina represented EMS Services on the Board of Directors. Tina Bates is a certified Fire Inspector, EMS Instructor, and Basic Life Support Instructor.

Jim Houghton

//Spencer focuses on the various facets of law that revolve around digital media and technology, whether that’s securing patents and trademarks for wearable tech or negotiating distribution agreements for the now prolific AZL App. Prior to co-founding Harris Ingram, he managed the tech startup accounts for Lee, Wooden & Ziegler LLP. Spencer has represented and advised entrepreneurs on best legal practices for their business for over 15 years.//

Treasurer

Bryan Connerat

//Isabel got her start working under Hugo Walters, Esq., director of the ABC Fashion Institute. She specializes in all things related to fashion law, whether that’s securing a trademark for a logo design or helping clients work through federal textile laws. Before joining Harris Ingram, she was an associate at fine arts practice Veronica Chin, PLLC. Isabel also represents fine artists, galleries, appraisers, and more on art litigation matters.//

Brendan Shaner

Brendan Shaner is a Nationally Certified Firefighter and EMT who has been involved with the Peachtree City Volunteer Firefighters Association since 2015. Firefighter Shaner is a full-time 4th Grade teacher at Eastside Elementary in Senoia. He resides in Newnan with his wife and three boys.

Director

Michael Peckett

Michael Peckett has been a volunteer firefighter since 1991. He had spent 20 years serving the Long Island Fire Service in New York. In 2010 the Peckett family moved to Peachtree City, volunteering with the PCVFA. Peckett was hired full-time to Peachtree City Fire & Rescue in 2012. He has been active in the community with Peckett and Sons Pressure Washing services for the past 5 years. Michael has been married 20 years and has three sons.

Joshua Teal

Joshua Teal is a Peachtree City native, attending Booth Middle School and graduating from from McIntosh High School. He has been with Peachtree City Fire & Rescue for 11 years, and serves as the department's History Archivist. Joshua is a certified Hazardous Materials Technician and a certified Car Seat Technician. Firefighter Teal has a passion for teaching children the importance of fire safety.
