The Fire Marshal conducts plan reviews and inspections of commercial and industrial buildings, and investigates fires as needed. Shift personnel also conduct annual inspections of businesses. Requirements are based upon the National Fire and Life Safety Codes, and the Southern Building and Mechanical Codes.
